We've decided to no longer allow comments since we have an entire group of idiots that like to call me names and belittle our company and program. And believe me, idiots is putting it mildy.
The funny part is that some of them are so stupid that they actually entered the same email addresses they used on their AT accounts - it's like the stupid criminals you see on Leno - impossible to believe but it's real.
The first week of payments have been processed and sent, congrats to all those who are making money with our new Ad System.
We have now added UniClear as a payment processing option from within your Control Panel. Excellent system and I would urge folks to use this in co-operation with e-gold as it is available to tranfer of e-gold both ways.
We very close to coming to a deal on a completely new way of doing business.
Imagine for a moment a bank without walls or borders -
A PIN protected, stored value ATM card that can be used worldwide at any ATM machine, POS station, can be hooked up directly as a bank account on PayPal, AlertPay etc, and is FDIC insured for up to 100,000.00 -
Imagine no longer needing to use the banking system at all -
Imagine being able to write checks to pay all your bills right online directly from your account to your local utility company or whatever you need to pay -
Imagine a system that will allow you to be free of government regulation and give you true control over your life -
There's no need to imagine any longer - that system is here - and it's coming to Alien Trust!
Stay tuned folks - the world is about to become a whole lot smaller and get a whole lot easier.
Have a great weekend and we'll have more details for you on Monday!

Good afternoon everyone.
We have some very exciting news for everyone.
We have had a very productive meeting with Damon Westmoreland CEO of GreenZap and Mazumah and we feel that we will be coming to a very nice result very soon which will include not only a payment processing solution but a commission distribution system which will include VISA/MC debit card, wire transfer, check, or direct to bank withdrawals.
We've discussed in depth our business model with Mr. Westmoreland and feel that we have a good match in terms consistant viability and longevity in this solution.
We'll get a final copy of the proposal either Friday or Monday and I'll pass the results of this proposal on to all of you ASAP.
We've also come to an agreement of sorts for our new line of Alien Gear which will go into production soon and be available via a new shopping cart solution we'll launch out.
Mr. Bruce Bing will be producing the artwork and managing the system which will include PayPal payment processing so that almost everyone in the world can sport the Alien Brand.
We're also in negotiations with 2 different companies to produce an awesome new piece of software for us that will be available on a monthly subscription basis that will include an Instant Messenger client that will run off of our own Jabber server, and a direct to desktop RSS reader for gathering all your news, getting news directly from us both at NSM and Alien Trust.
At present we anticipate that monthly subscription will be very low at only about 5-10 USD per month, and all revenues from the sales of these subscriptions will initially go to the SP Recovery fund.
We're also going to announce very soon our very first raffle - that will be for a brand new 2006 Toyota Camry valued at over 25,000.00!
We'll decide on a ticket price here shortly and get you some additional details as we finalize the contest.
Thanks everyone and we look forward to talking to you all again soon.

I just wanted to add this note for those that may still be experiencing session issues ie: staying logged in.
Our system is pretty sophisticated in terms of what we're trying to accomplish. Let me lay it out for everyone again as simply as I can so that you can get a grasp of what's happening.
We have a 9 server system as follows.
In front we have a Cisco Firewall which leads to a Load Balancer that uses a round-robin algorithm to determine which of the our 3 front end web server to route your request to. The request will land on either web1 - epiphany, web2 polaris, or web3 infinity server. The web servers then communicate with one of the 2 database servers depending on whether the call to the DB is a read-only, or write call. This is all tied into both of the Extra security servers.
Now - we have 2 different types of routing that is persistant. What's commonly referred to as Sticky IP, and arrow-point cookies. This system tries to stick you to a certain server so that we can ensure you don't lose your session.
The way it works is that once you hit the load balancer by calling the root domain ie: alientrust.com you are routed through the firewall where the load balancer tracks your IP and routes you to a specific server. At the same time what's called an arrow-point cookie is attached as well which is basicaly used in the e-commerce field for the same thing - proper server tracking.
All this is designed to keep you "on server".
Here's the rub - your IP address changes from time to time. If you're on DSL or Cable, it usually happens every couple days, if you're on dial up it happens everytime you log on. If the load balancer doesn't recognize your IP for whatever reason it may route you to a different server than you should be on. You get logged out because somewhere during your session the arrow-point cookie takes control and attempts to route you back to the correct server.
I know this is confusing - it's confusing to me still - but that's what's happening. For example - you login and you're moving around the control panel just fine, you go to make an ad buy, you go off to E-Gold, make your payment, click the button to come back and now you're on a different server and logged out.
This is because the arrow-point cookie routed you back to the correct server that you should've been on in the first place. Once you log back in you'll see that your purchase went through just fine and alls well.
One of the ways you can help solve this is to frequestly delete your cache and cookies and keep your computer free of all that excess stuff. Or simply note the server you end up on once you return from making a payment, then in the future call that server directly.
These are the 3 addresses of the servers:
Once again you want to try and see where your AP cookie routes you if possible then call that server in the future. This will certainly help you, although it does sort of diminish the power of the load balancer.
Unfortunately our siftware is simply not designed for this complex environment and perhaps we'll simply end up deleting the load balancer all together if it continues to cause a problem over the long run.
I hope this helps some of you who are still experiencing this, please try not to get frustrated, if you are having issues please make an attempt to use the instructions above to alleviate the problem before posting a ticket.

In the immortal words of Dr. Frankenstein IT'S ALIVE!!
We're back up and running and everything is looking great so far.
Here's the new model once again for those that missed it:
10% per day for 13 days for a total of 30% over the Ad Buy period.
4% cashout fee
Ad Buys start at 8.00 to 8000.00
You must enter an Ad URL for each Ad Buy you purchase, credits are added automatically to the Buy once your purchase is completed.
No referral commissions at this time, we may add them in later.
You may purchase an Ad Buy from your earnings once ALL current Ad Buys expire.
Purchases and payouts ONLY through E-Gold at this time, we are negotiating with Mazumah this week to create our own payment and commission management system to further insulate ourselves against any payment issues in the future.
If you have any issues or problems please post a ticket and we'll get them looked at ASAP.
PS: Don't forget to allocate all old credits to an Ad Buy once you purchase a new one. Please delete your cookies and cache and then return to the site that way you get locked in on a new server and arrow-point cookie.
Well after 2 days of trying to get this to work and lots of cussing and throwing of things, we've given up hope. The manual surfbar and questionnaire will need to be contracted out.
I have some coding skills, enough to work the basics but this integration on this nasty old code is beyond the time I'm willing to spend on it. So we'll just let it slide for right now, but I assure you IT WILL HAPPEN, I want the system to be manual so that we can get a higher level of advertising for the membership.
Anyway we're about ready to relaunch here in a couple hours. We have just a few more settings to tweak and we'll be ready to go.
Here's what we've done so far.
As most of you are already aware, all the member levels and account cash have been set back to zero. We have an active backup of all member's information that we will use to process refunds as we move forward. So please don't ask about this. You will be refunded in due time.
All existing credits are still listed on your account. We've deleted all existing websites from the database and added those credits back into your main account. From here out you will only be able to ad URLS when you purchase or increase an Ad Buy. You can however allocate existing credits from your old buys which were stolen to your new Ad Buys. Simply follow the path here:
Control Panel-->Account Stats-->View Ad Buys-->Allocate Ads
This will allow you to allocate those old credits.
We will be adding some new sections as we move forward to include the AT shopping area for AT gear, a new forum, Banner ad purchase and ad placement for the new front side of the site plus more. As always these take a little time to do.
The frontend of this site will be edited over the next couple days to reflect the new terms, objectives, and misson statements along with some updated graphics. We WILL NOT be taking any new members for the first week so that we can fully test the system and work out any bugs.
If you notice anything strange or something that's not working correctly please contact us at Tech Support through the support system.
Thanks everyone and we look forward to getting started in the next couple of hours.

We're going to completely eliminate comments on this blog as it only seems to become a shouting match and serves no purpose. The childish exchanges in here are out of control so all new posts will not be allowed comments. It is unfortunate as we liked some of the more contructive comments.
The manual surfbar is still in production so as soon as that is finished I'll post an in depth instruction guide here for exactly what the new system will involve and how you can go about getting started.
If you have something constructive to say or ask please post it in a support ticket and we'll review it.
Thanks and we'll keep you updated as we move forward.
To answer the question of Payment Processors. AlertPay does NOT have a mass pay feature so we won't be able to use them after all. With the number of members we have it's completely impossible to run payments one at a time. Sorry, but until they add that feature they're out. It sucks cause I really like them.
EMO has been nothing but un-cooperative in getting our account verified, has shown NO customer support and frankly they scare me. They are currently in the process of freezing AS accounts and account holders right now, so it's safe to say at this point we won't be doing busines with them as well.
We will continue to explore options to add to the system but for now hard currency seems the way to go.
Additionally, for now there will be no compunding, but like the referral commissions, that may change later on once we all get back on our feet.
17. February 2006 @ 13:36
Good Afternoon Everyone,,
The first major section of the update is complete. All of the website advertising is now completely integrated with the upgade section of the script. Here's how it works.
YOu choose to purchase an Ad Buy, on the form you will see Number of shares to purchase, payment method, Ad Tititle, Ad URL, Ad Language and the preview button.
Once you enter the information you will be given a confirmation page and a button which will whisk you off to E-Gold to make your payment, once completed you'll be returned to the thank you page where we'll do just that and remind you that you need to confirm your Ad URL and give you a button to do so.
In the background e-gold will post back your purchase information, and all associated Ad Buy information ie: name, url, lang, and credits for this ad to the appropriate table in the DB.
We've run about 50 tests and it's worked perfectly everytime without fail, so that's great.
The next step is to begin working on the surfbar, and once that's complete we'll relaunch. The questionnaire will come later as I don't think that's necessary to get started.
Just to clarify - you answer one 5 question questionnaire at the END of your surfing for the day - not one after each website you look at.
If I can get the surfbar completed today we'll re-launch at Midnight. Understand this will take some serious coding on my part as I have to re-write the surfbar from another piece of software to fit into our program. Our programmer that we were hiring decided to take a pass when all the fun began on Black Thursday so I have to write it all myself.
I closed the comments on the previous thread as it was starting to get a little silly over there.
I saw a lot of posts questioning why we wanted to change the plan if we believed it to be legal in the first place. The answer to this is very simple.
Better safe than sorry!
Why put ourselves in jeopardy if we can simply think outside the box and come up with something beyond scrutiny.
As I've said many times I don't believe our original plan was in any way a ponzi scheme. Our terms of service clearly states:
Members agree and understand that there is NO GUARANTEE OF EARNINGS WHATSOEVER, and ALIENTRUST.COM makes no claims of potential earnings. ALIENTRUST.COM IS NOT AN INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY, and makes no claims to be such. We are an advertising company and as such deliver website traffic to our members based upon the advertising package they purchase. ALIENTRUST.COM reserves the right to alter, modify or discontinue any portion of our earnings program at anytime with or without notice.
What this means is once you purchase an Ad Buy and your credits are delivered, (which happens instantly) that money is ours. We have made a sale of an Ad Buy. That money is then available for us to do as we please with it, which would include paying bills, employees, and commissions for our members to view websites.
Your Ad Buy expires every 14 days, which means the system IS NOT set up to require NEW memberships to survive. It is predicated on repeat business. If no-one re-purchases an Ad Buy then we may have some trouble, but ultimately we can use our money for whatever we want.
Now, that being said, we do believe that there is a need to invest OUR money in other outside venues, or generate additional revenue through the AT site whether it be through outside companies, T-Shirts and Coffe Mugs or whatever. And that will happen, but we need to be in a situation where we can MAKE it happen. We grew so fast that we simply never had any time to build the infrastructure needed for this to happen. We were constantly trying to deal with all the growing pains, and get ourselves into an office environment and so on.
But the bottom line is that since we are delivering a verifiable product, and NO ONE can say that web traffic is not a viable product, just like any McDonald's or Wal-Mart we have every right to do with our money what we wish. I don't see anyone telling these companies that they are a ponzi scheme because they use the money they collect from sales of their products to pay their employees or shareholders.
We've spent several days researching and Googling every site we could find for Ponzi schemes and the one common thread is that there is NEVER any product or service rendered. As long as we are delivering a product we should not have any problems. However, there is no reason NOT to explore other models to further insulate you and ourselves.
So - in keeping with the spirit of the law we have decided to make adjustments to the advertising element of the program as well to better serve the advertiser and their Ad Buys.
When we re-launch Alien Trust will contain the following new elements that will help ensure better ad serving and higher click throughs for ads purchased.
1. EVERY member who purchases an Ad Buy WILL BE REQUIRED to enter a qualified web site address for the Ad Buy they are purchasing. This ensures that we are delivering what we say we are. When you purchase an Ad Buy there will be an area on the form to to enter the associated address for this Buy, and once the payment is made the website and the associated credits will be credited to your account.
2. The Automatic Ad Viewer will become a Manual Ad Viewer. You will now be required to manually click on to the next site via a link and Turing Number system.
3. Once you've reached the number of sites required to receive your payment for the day, you will automatically be directed to a questionnaire that will require you to fill in answers to questions about the Ads you viewed for the day. What was the best ad you visited today? What did you like best about the ad? Did you make a purchase or enroll at the website? If so what was the dollar amount of your purchase? Etc. It will be about 5 questions that you will be required to answer or else you WILL NOT be paid. These stats will then be compiled weekly and listed on the website in order to assist other advertisers in ad layout, design, price point and so on. We can then also take these stats to outside advertising companies and attempt to show the effectiveness of the system and entice some outside advertising companies to buy from us.
We sincerely believe that this will not only increase the effectiveness of the ads purchased, but also increase our ability to affect the advertising market on a more substantive level. Leverage is very important to the large corporations and this allows us to leverage not only the volume of our membership, but leverage the effectivness of what we're doing as well.
The basics of the plan will be as follows:
9% for 14 days which equates to just a touch over 25%
No referral commissions
Cashout fees will increase to 4%
Web sites can only be added when an Ad Buy is purchased, but are not limited in numbers.
Ad Veiwing will be Manual in nature and you will view 20 sites for 20 seconds each followed by a 5 item questionnaire that MUST be answered to earn for the day.
Each Ad Buy will be limited to 1000 Ad Shares
Ad Shares will be purchased in 8.00 increments
For those who have suggested a Debit Card system, we are currently negotiating with Virtual Money, a 5 year old company located here in Texas to establish a relationship to provide these Debit Card services for us. We'll update you on this as we get more details on when and how.
For those who have suggested that we start our own payment processor, we do indeed have this on our long-term agenda, but that will not happen for some time. We would need to educate further and hire some Banking professionals in order to feel comfortable with this.
We're not Bankers, we're Advertisers. Marketers if you will. We have no immediate interest in the headaches and logistical problems associated with owning a payment processor. Believe me, we already have purchased the domain and have designed the branding and logos, we're just not ready to move forward yet. A venture of this nature would require immense funding, legal fees, and official oversight which we are not prepared for at this time. If we're going to do it, we want to do it right.
We will begin with E-Gold for both receiving and sending payments at this time, and once we're verified with EMO, everything will move over to them. I'm not sure what the holdup is there, but I've contacted them several times and still have gotten no response. It's been nearly 2 months since I began the process, so for now we'll just go with E-Gold.
Please keep in mind folks that the process of writing all these additions will take a few days to accomplish and you'll see some crazy stuff in the Surf bar until all is finished and tested.
Please be patient, we're working hard to bring you the best advertising venue on the internet and we hope to be back online for you ASAP.
Message received. No one likes the new plan - gotcha.
Just to be clear - MLM stands for Multi-Level Marketing which means you earn commissions on multiple levels - the new plan DID NOT include that so it's NOT an MLM. In fact there was absolutely NO difference in the structure of the program other than the ROI and Referral commissions - period.
I'm not sure where everyone got the notion that it was an MLM but in any event - enough said, we'll re-think the plan. I know everyone is anxious to get back to work, but I'm simply not willing to re-launch until we come to a good solution.
There has to be a formula that will work for everyone. Our concept was to ensure that we were providing a model that everyone who wanted to run a site could use without having to constantly be upside down. We are trying to help the industry as a whole not just serve ourselves.
The inherent problem with our industry is that far too many people are in it only for themsleves. They don't care about the industry, they don't care about the company, they simply want to get theirs and go, and I think that sucks and we're not going to behave that way. We DO care about the industry and are concerned about the future. We want to ensure that we are doing business legally, and want to take every precaution we can to ensure long-term stability.
I've read some good ideas from the earlier posts, some which have merit and we'll explore those options as we come to a decision.
I think perhaps our best bet is to move to a smaller payout, kill the referral commissions, and increase the cashout fee slightly - not much, but a little bit. I think this will ease the burden on us and slow the growth a little.
In any event we're committed to coming back online and we'll continue to look at the numbers and what we can do to strengthen the company and start moving slowly in a more progressive direction.
Utlimately the best plan would be to re-start AT, launch a new site with a better overall model which would include more types of advertising and the ability to sell advertising to outside venues, then slowly phase out AT and transition everyone over to the new site as they're Ad Buys expire.
We met this morning with our Legal Team and have been advised that we need to gather as much information as possible. Any documentation, screenshots etc. that you have, that you wish to forward to us would be appreciated.
We've set up a new email address for this so that we can print these out and get them to the Legal Team tomorrow. A determination will then be made as to whether this is cause for Civil or Criminal action.
As today's events have unfolded it certainly looks as though this will be a criminal case. When you start breaking into FDIC insured bank accounts, I'm pretty sure that escalates the issue far beyond where we were a couple days ago.
Please send and documentation you've received from StormPay or screenshots etc to

Before you all start sending in mass support tickets, we have become aware of some discrepencies in members SP accounts. Since we are not able ourselves to login into our SP account at all, we have been kept on top of things through the account information and updates of friends, associates, and family members.
This morning many of these people reported to us that their account at SP was now at a $0 balance, when just last night it was showing a positive balance. When they checked the account history screen, it was showing chargebacks were made to whatever AS site they were sending funds to and receiving them from.
Before I continue let me just say one more time:
WE DO NOT HAVE ANY ACCESS WHATSOEVER TO OUR SP ACCOUNT. WE CANNOT EVEN LOG ON TO THE SITE, LET ALONE TO OUR ACCOUNT.
It appears that Storm Pay has decided that they have the right to move our funds and the funds of our members around as they see fit.
We are taking printouts of the account history screens to our lawyer, to add to the pile of other items. This is the most bold and outrageous stunt yet. Not only do we have no control over the money in our accounts, apparently neither do many of our members.
this message is only sent to our upgraded members in order to reduce the heavy load of our mail server due to the excessive amount of emails we are sending out and the amount of emails we are receiving.
Stormpay was removed from exekosurf and we cannot do anything else until we have more news from stormpay
it seems to us that stormpay is lying about the actual situation. they never tried to contact us nor they asked us about our activity. they are not answering any of our contact requests and our lawyer will attempt to contact them by phone and fax starting from tomorrow morning.
We are asking all of our members to be patient. We have no choice but to wait and see what stormpay will do with our members funds.
This problem is affecting the whole autosurf industry and not only exekosurf and butterflysurf.
Try to relax and enjoy your week end. we will continue to inform all our members but we will not answer all queries individually.
Please do not submit tickets about earnings not credited we will fix everything on monday.
